Alexia

Over and over again, I repeatedly lead the dragon's own attacks back at it. Slamming its own missiles into its scales and cracking them. All the way until the dragon finally stops using those missiles, proving its intelligence over other monsters.

Although it also tries to attack me several times with physical attacks, which kind of disproves that prior confirmation of its intelligence. Which confuses me a little bit.

But more importantly, the dragon cracked its own scales enough for me to deal some damage through them.

So I do just that. I begin bombarding the cracked scales with my own attacks, barely getting them through the cracks and expanding the cracks at the same time.

All the way until its scales completely break, freeing a way to its bare flesh beneath the scales.

Right as I'm about to begin attacking that spot though, the dragon suddenly does something differently.

It coats its claws in ice mana and slashes at me, sending me flying all the way across the cavern of ice to crash into the wall with a grunt. Leaving me completely implanted in the cracked ice wall while coughing out glitchy purplish-red blood.

Well, damn. Guess my first assumption was correct.

This is a very smart dragon.

My eyes narrow as I reverse all of the damage the dragon just did to me. Which was a lot.

So much damage that it almost cut me in two, thereby costing me a significant amount of soul to revert.

The dragon narrows its own eyes on me in return. Almost like it's surprised its attack didn't work.

It must've purposefully started attacking me with attacks it knew wouldn't do anything to me just to make me let my guard down. Then it did one big magic attack in an attempt to kill me in one hit.

Which has now failed.

Albeit only after taking a chunk of my soul.

Fortunately for me, my soul is a lot higher now than it was before taking that berry thing. So I can take it.

For now.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

I slowly teleport around the dragon while searching for any openings, meanwhile the dragon just keeps its eyes on me without making any moves to attack. And the two of us just continue like this for several minutes.

Then we both move at the exact same time.

The dragon lets out a powerful roar that sends a shockwave of ice all around it, and I teleport straight up to the dragon right after the shockwave passes. At which point I slam my fist into the damaged scales before opening up my hand and beginning to spew out Quantum Breath through my hand directly into its body.

I make sure to keep an eye on the dragon's head and the shockwave that moves away from me as the dragon roars in pain from the quantum breath directly eating away at its bare flesh. But since it's taking so long to destroy the dragon from the inside, I end up stuck to the thing for quite a while as the dragon tries over and over again to throw me off.

Without any success.

And even after several minutes of clinging onto it and using Quantum Breath, the dragon's flesh inside doesn't take as much damage as I'd prefer. Showing only a large chunk several times my size missing after glitching apart.

Which isn't much considering how massive the dragon is.

Although, the dragon doesn't seem to share my opinion. Not when it starts to coat its arms in ice mana and begins trying to strike me without care for striking itself. To the point that it just goes wild and barrages itself with attacks, dealing almost as much damage to itself as I'm doing.

But at the same time, it does manage to hit me numerous times. Even if I revert the damage every time.

I can't keep this up forever though. After all, using Quantum Reversal takes up a lot of energy.

And I don't have infinite energy in my tank.

Not outside of the Quantum Realm, that is.

So I continue staying inside of the dragon's back while the dragon digs into itself for several more minutes before finally teleporting away when the thing lets loose a powerful blast of ice mana at itself. Completely missing me in the process and freezing its own back.

The dragon lets out a roar of anger and rage while turning towards me with hatred clearly visible in its eyes.

But despite all of that, the thing is simply missing a large hole in its back.

Which isn't fatal.

What could eventually be fatal, though, is how close that must be to the dragon's heart.

Assuming the dragon's heart is in its chest, and that it only has one heart. Since I know some dragons have more than one heart.

Just looking at the hydras for example, since they're considered to be part of the dragon species. Albeit an offshoot.

But for now, the dragon's heart is my only choice for target.

I don't have the soul remaining to do much more than hope for the best with its heart, seeing as I'm down to just a quarter of my soul left.

And that's after taking a lot of Luna's soul.

My eyes narrow on the dragon, who is glaring at me in return while still roaring in pain and anger. Then I teleport straight to the large gaping hole in its back before beginning to dig my way through its back in the direction of its chest. Just hoping against hope that the thing only has one heart, and that its heart is there.

Of course, the dragon doesn't just let me do that. It thrashes around, uses magic to attack me, and does everything it can to get me out of its body. Which is harder and harder for it to do the further inside I get.

At least, that's what I assumed.

Until the dragon suddenly stops moving while I'm getting close to something that seems to be pulsing inside of its body, and the creature fills its entire body up with ice mana.

Freezing me solid in an instant.

Panic immediately fills me as the situation registers in my mind.

Shit.

This isn't good.
