Combat Slave Harem

Chapter 31: To The Slave Market

Egon Novos was back at the same slave district where he and Archon had been sold off to Vienna at first.

It felt like just yesterday. The memory was still vivid in his mind.

The slave district was a large section occupying one-fifth of Dolan City.

Slave culture was quite common in this world, so there were no regulations or laws controlling these businesses.

Here and there, people were buying others with handy amounts of gold pieces.

Some even openly groped their slaves’ breasts right in front of everyone, and yet no one batted an eye.

In their minds, slaves were just tools to be manipulated and feasted upon.

Egon might not be a hero, but he wasn’t completely heartless either.

To him, slaves were more like subordinates who needed to be guided well and made loyal to him gradually.

But if it came to their pitiful pride, he would not hesitate to use his Soul Binding skill.

"Haha, Madam Castros! What a pleasant surprise to see you here!"

While the trio strolled through the slave market, checking out the goods, a familiar figure came forward to greet Vienna.

Vienna’s lips curved.

"Denkai, you still look like that swiny old man who smells customers from a long distance."

Denkai rubbed his beard as he smiled craftily. "Thank you for the generous praise. May I know what you are looking for this time?" he asked.

Vienna eyed Egon, introducing him. "He is Egon Novos. I hope you remember him well?"

Denkai looked at the slightly tanned-skinned Egon, who radiated quiet confidence from every pore. But he didn’t fail to recognize him.

"Isn’t he the slave boy from our earlier deal? What is he doing here? Where is his slave collar? Madam Castros, you dared to make a slave run free?"

His shrewd little old eyes widened in astonishment.

"Careful, Denkai!" Vienna barked. "He is now a Soul Evolver and my husband."

Denkai’s mouth formed an "O" shape.

"You’re married? Since when?" he asked aloud.

"You don’t need to know. Just watch your words. We’re here to buy some strong slaves, so I expect you to treat him equally to us."

Denkai swallowed hard. "Ah, yes, yes. If that is your wish, follow me!"

While heading over, Noella whispered near Egon’s ear, "Brother-in-law, Sister Vienna is going to introduce you with that title to the whole city. Are you comfortable with that? What if some admirers of hers come to confront you openly?"

He smiled mischievously.

"I don’t see a problem. Besides, if they really dared to court death, you’ll be there to protect me, isn’t that right?"

"Yes, of course," she replied. "I will protect you, Brother-in-law."

"But what will I get in return?" she asked, like a seductive succubus.

"Anything you want," he replied lewdly. "Maybe my meat steak in your mouth after this over?"

Noella gulped. "Yes, I would love that, Brother-in-law. Just don’t tell Sister Vienna alright?."

His hand reached down, and groped her soft buttocks.

"Obviously not. You’re my precious sister-in-law after all."

Noella shivered, already in anticipation at what was about to come tonight.

The trio followed Denkai deeper into the heart of the Slave Market, walking through narrow aisles lined with iron-barred pens, wooden platforms, and auction stages still damp from the morning’s wash-downs.

The air was thick with the mingled scents of sweat, cheap perfume, oiled leather, and the metallic tang of fear-sweat.

Sounds of chains, accompanied by low voices in half a dozen dialects were heard almost everywhere.

And somewhere within this corner, scalding whips that burned flesh itself rang, terryfying any ordinary man.

Denkai kept up a running commentary as he led them,

"Prime stock today, Madam Castros, Master Novos. We have War captives from the northern border skirmishes, sturdy farm-bred laborers, even a few ex-mercenaries who fell on hard times. All verified in good health. No diseased goods here, I swear on my integrity."

Egon said nothing. Instead, he noted the variety of slaves: broad-shouldered men with scarred knuckles, tough women whose eyes still held a spark of defiance, younger ones who stared at the ground as though willing it to swallow them.

All of them wore magical slave collars.

These slave collar are useful, but nothing compared to what his Soul Binder could achieve.

Vienna walked at his side, while holding his right hand between her big breasts.

Noella followed them half a step behind.

Every so often her silver eyes swept the crowd, cataloguing threats, marking faces.

When a drunken buyer stumbled too close, leering openly at Vienna’s silk-clad figure, Noella shifted, just enough to place herself between them.

The drunken man blinked, then sobered instantly by the cold promise in her stare, and fled away without a word.

Denkai stopped before a raised platform where six figures stood in a neat line, wrists loosely chained to overhead rings.

Four men, two women.

All of them were stripped to loincloths or think clothes.

The two warrior looking women were eagerly showing their hairy pussies and bare breasts just to attract the group’s attention.

The four men, lowered their heads in submission.

Denkai spread his arms,

"These are my best current offerings for strength and endurance. All of them are Spul Evolvers. The tall one on the left is Krag. He was was a captain in the Blackthorn Company before they were destroyed. He is excellent with a sword, and he’s still got fight in him. The woman beside him, Mara, used to run with the Ironclad Sisterhood. She’s broken more shields than most men have swung hammers."

Egon stepped forward, studying them one by one.

Those two women’s bushy pussies and big didn’t interfere too much with impartial eyes.

He was here to buy strong Slaves, not whores.

The scarred captain, Krag, met his gaze calmly. He did not plead, no cowered.

He showed only measuring look that said: "I’ve killed men better than you."

Egon’s lips curved faintly as his interest grew.

He turned to Denkai. "What’s are the prices?"

Denkai rubbed his hands together. "For the lot? 2500 gold. But for you, honored guests, only 2400."

Vienna opened her mouth to counter, but Egon raised a hand.

"2000 or leave it, " he offered giving no room for negotiation.

For Six Soul evolvers it was a bery low number. But he remembered how he was sold for just 100.

And that’s why he thought he was already being generous.

"Fine," After some grumbling, Denkai agreed.

Afterward, the ownership transfer was complete wih the exchange of 2000 shiny gold bills from Vienna’s stash.

Both Vienna and Egon’s heart bled after paying.

But they had to steel their hearts, because it wasn’t over yet.

It was then, when Egon finally notice someone terryfying.

His heart skipped a beat when he first landed his eyes on the person within the sturdy cage.
